WWL x NUS: Organisational Mental Health Frameworks
Over the past few years, many organisations have put in place wellbeing and mental health programmes to support employees, such as counselling, flexi-work and check-in processes, to name but a few. Yet in Singapore, employees cite a wide gap between themselves and their employers. Compared to our regional neighbours, Singapore does not fare well and just a couple of weeks ago a new study showed that quiet-quitting in Singapore is above the global average. With top talent retention and attraction still a critical business priority, employers need to do more, but they can’t break the bank, especially in today’s unpredictable macro-economic environment.
The LeadWell Organisational Mental Health Frameworks training systematically maps out a holistic approach to proactively and reactively address wellbeing and mental health in the workplace. Based on a thoroughly researched approach, the training helps companies identify gaps in planning and programmes, to pragmatically set a strategy to further employee wellbeing.
The framework was developed by NUS, a fellow WWL member and winner of this year’s WorkWell Leaders Wellbeing Organisation of the Year Award. WWL’s CEO Dialogues and Learning Sessions include deep dives into specific aspects of the framework as a best practice model for thriving workplaces. Understanding how the framework can be applied to any organisation will help in planning a robust employee wellbeing and mental health roadmap, as well as identify which stakeholders one may need to engage for support.
