WWL x SACS: Understanding Mental Health Conditions
In partnership with Singapore Anglican Community Services, WorkWell Leaders is offering its members Training Session on Understanding Mental Health Conditions on 27 June 2024.
Referring to mental health has become part of our everyday language. From one perspective that’s good news, as the topic becomes less stigmatised. On the other hand, it could be argued that the use of “mental health” has become so common place as to lack real meaning or understanding. Mental health can mean so many things to different people.
There are numerous distinctive types of mental health conditions which require different forms of support from the workplace, family and friends. To unpack the different types of mental health conditions, WWL has partnered with SACS for a training session that will help you identify where a team member may be on the mental health spectrum and importantly what are the types of interventions required in each case. The training session will also cover an overview of the mental health landscape in Singapore today as well as useful resources for individuals or organisations to turn to when seeking help.
This training session is especially useful for HR teams as they grapple with providing the most relevant mental wellbeing support for employees.
