WorkWell Leaders x SwedCham Panel Discussion

WorkWell Leaders held a special CEO Dialogue “Be Well Lead Well: Mental Wellbeing as a Business Strategy” together with Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Singapore in partnership with 8 European Chambers. Held in the beautiful Estonian Business Hub (Estonian Embassy in Singapore), over 30 CEOs gathered to learn from one another.

The session kicked off with an illuminating sharing on the workplace wellbeing landscape by CEO of National Council of Social Service (NCSS), Li-San Tan, who shed light on existing trends in wellbeing as well as key strategies for employers to build psychologically safe workplaces. It was humbling to see the WorkWell Leaders community mentioned alongside iWorkHealth survey and NCSS Mental Health Toolkit as crucial platforms to further workplace wellbeing.

CEOs Boudewijn Pesch (Axis Communications) and Suyeon Kim (AstraZeneca) took center stage with Li-San for an in-depth panel discussion. Moderated by WWL Founder & Chairperson Anthea Indira Ong, leaders candidly discussed the opportunities and challenges of going beyond box-ticking to improve work culture and work design. The panel offered insights with great vulnerability and openness, inviting an enthusiastic Q&A session that (as usual) ran overtime.
