[The Business Times] ‘The investment we make will pay off’: Three Singaporean leaders explain why they’re prioritising mental health

WorkWell Leaders was featured in a Business Times article on company leaders who emerged from the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic with inspiring outlooks on individual and organisational wellbeing.
The interviewees Kelvin Ho (Nomura) Sze Keed Wong (AIA Singapore) and Tian Beng Ng (Dell Technologies) —all proud members of WorkWell Leaders— shared candidly about their struggles with rallying an empty office, overcoming “mom guilt” and cabin fever during circuit breaker.
Despite helming vastly different organisations from banking to insurance to IT, all three expressed a common revelation: when top leaders communicate openly about mental health, it reduces stigma and unlocks successful business. What’s more, leaders’ own mental health improves tremendously when they do not need to maintain a stiff upper lip.
